Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, has addressed the controversies surrounding his age, educational background, and employment history.
On Monday, Tinubu gave these responses while speaking at Chatham House in London, UK.
He stated that he was born on March 29, 1952, and he was the former governor of Lagos State.
He boasted that the people who questioned claims that he’s from the Tinubu family ought to demand for a DNA test.
Tinubu claimed that he had received his original certificate from Chicago State University on his academic and work records.
Additionally, he stated that Mobil Oil has confirmed his outstanding record.
Tinubu stated:I was born on March 29, 1952, which is when I was born. At that point, I don’t believe I had made a decision to run for president of Nigeria or even to enter Politics.
My track record is consistent with that of the university that was questioned. The transcript for March 1952 and the record are both present.
I am not asserting a second father.I am Tinubu, specifically Tinubu. They could request a DNA test if they want to conduct one.
That is now confirmed by Chicago State University, from which I received my degree.I am able to declare that I have received my initial certificate of replacement degree from them.
I was trained as an accountant by Deloitte.Mobil Oil has acknowledged my excellent track record. In the private sector, I reached my career’s highest point.Who among them has the gall to boast about that?
