An arrest that has stirred the entertainment world, which many see as unlawful and a total disgrace.

Popular comedian, Bright Okpocha also known as Basketmouth, described the act as shameful. He berated the officials for arresting an individual a little amount of ‘marijuana’ and other drugs when they have information on those who export these drugs.

He said, “For NDLEA guys to go to his house around 12 midnight, I was scared that they will see 300kg of marijuana on him. Only for me to see the picture and I now saw a ‘tena‘, you will just roll it and get two or three sticks.

“You are supposed to have a little shame. The people carrying marijuana you guys know them. There are bigger problems to worry about.”

In another post, he said, “Don’t get me wrong, I’m not supporting the use of marijuana, I don’t do such.

“I’ll never do such a thing but what I’m saying is that you people are wasting tax payers’ money to go and arrest someone with small pinch of ‘igbo’. You just wasted my money now.”
