BBNaija Season 6 housemates: Confusion over ‘fake’ contestants as show begins

In the last 24 hours, there has been confusion on social media, over similar updates posted by some users, who claim to be housemates for Season 6 of the reality show, Big Brother Nigeria.

The organizers are typically very discreet with details around the show and have never revealed contestants ahead of the opening in the past.

However, Precious Emmanuel, who was on the last edition of The Voice Nigeria, posted on his Instagram stories: “I’m going into the Big Brother Naija House tomorrow and won’t be in charge of my socials from today.

“Need all your support. Bless!”

This exact post was replicated by a few other users on Twitter and Instagram.

However, Emmanuel has come to state that “please disregard that BBN post o. My phone was hacked. No vex, I go try next year. Thanks for the love”.

It remains to be seen if the talented vocalist will indeed be in the house and was told to issue the disclaimer by the organizers.

Meanwhile, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns as host of Big Brother Naija this season.

This year, there would be double launch shows; the first on Saturday, 24 July and the second on Sunday, 25 July.

This is when the official housemates will be unveiled.
