As the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Osun state’s governor, Ademola Adeleke is the uncle of artist Davido. A video of his interview with a radio station in Osun state, where he is competing, has garnered attention from Nigerians.
According to Twitter user Comrade who posted the video, Davido should come and pull his uncle away from the situation.
In the viral video, Ademola Adeleke was seen reading a rehearsed agenda outlining what he hopes to accomplish for the people of Osun state.
“After months of pressure, the @OsunPDP candidate agreed to feature on a radio program just to come and be reading a prepared script,” he wrote. @davido Your uncle’s going to need a lift.
When this news broke, Nigerians reacted by claiming that Ademola Adeleke did nothing wrong during his interview.
It was widely accepted that reading written points at official occasions or programs was the appropriate thing to do, and some have recalled the names of people who did so.

The9jafresh recalls that a few days ago, Davido contacted a Suleyman who lives in Ghana for a full-term scholarship to Adeleke University in Osun state after the boy cleared his WAEC exams with straight As.
“We have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full 4/5 year scholarship to Adeleke University…. accommodation and allowance included! God bless y’all”
