  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tbsp of dried corn silk
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Lemon (optional)
  • To make corn silk tea, add 2 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of dried corn silk in a saucepan.

  • Bring the mixture up to a boil and then reduce heat to a low simmer.

  • Allow the mixture to simmer for another 10 minutes.

  • Once done, turn the heat down and let the tea steep for another 30 minutes. You can add a teaspoon of honey if you wish to add a sweetener. Now, strain the tea using a strainer and serve the infusion warm! Enjoy!


Method 2

This method is ideal for those who want to obtain the natural benefits of corn silk.



  • Dried corn silk, chopped
  • Water
  • Honey


  1. This method does not need boiling.
  2. Pour some water into a glass jar with a lid.
  3. Add the dried silk corn to the water.
  4. Put on the lid and then keep the jar out in the sun for an entire day.
  5. At the end of the day, bring the jar inside and add some honey to it and stir well.
  6. Keep it in the refrigerator and serve it chilled.
