Popular comedian and TV host, Steve Harvey, has opened up about how he was homeless and broke in his early thirties.

The funny host on his Twitter on Monday stated how one can still make it even after thirty or forty. He said he didn’t give up on his dreams and that drive made him into who he is.

In a series of tweets, Steve talked about how he survived living in a car for three years.

The ‘Family Feud’ and ‘The Steve Harvey Show’ host shared a throwback photo of himself with the tweets.

An excerpt of the tweet read, “I didn’t get into comedy until I was 27. I was homeless from 30 to 33. I lived in a car for three years. Don’t give up on your dreams.

“I’m telling you, you have a great life in front of you, you just have to go see what it is but you got to understand the real deal: God’s plan for you is always better than your plan.”

He talked about how he got his first gig when he was almost 40 years old. “I was almost 40 when I got my big break on The Steve Harvey Show in 1996.”

The sitcom, ‘The Steve Harvey Show’ aired on The WB from August 25, 1996, to February 17, 2002.

Recall that in 2020, Steve revealed in an interview with People Magazine about his first divorce and how he made $50 a week while he pursued comedy living in his car.
