Izombe, Imo Burnt Down By Soldiers And Ebube Agu ( . )
Scores of houses and businesses have been burnt down by the Nigerian army and Ebubeagu operatives yesterday at Izombe community, Oguta LGA of Imo state.
Many are still on the run as the security operatives continue to patrol the community.
An indigene wrote : “Uzodimma’s Ebubeagu militia on rampage today at Izombe in Oguta LGA. Many feared dead,Buildings razed down.
It’s so sad and very unfortunate that since 1976, when Imo State was created, the past two years under the See of uzodimma has turned into the most insecure to lives and prosperity in the state.
Only Uzodimma’s nonchalant,dishonest and insincere plans, policies, programs and projects for security could account for the imo state turning into the most insecure place in the south East and Nigeria in general.
