Ekenedilichukwu Ugochukwu Eric Nwenweh popularly known as Ken Erics is a professional Nollywood actor, model, producer, entrepreneur, investor and a television personality. He is one of the most prolific actors in Nigeria known for his role in movies. He is very handsome, gifted, skillful, creative and talented. He knows how to interpret his roles very well and can fit in any character giving to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.
He is popularly known for his role as Ugo in the movie “The Illiterate” alongside Tonto Dikeh and Yul Edochie. The talented actor has been in the industry for over a decade and has proven that with determination and hard work one can surely make it in the industry. He acts mostly in epic and romantic movies. He is currently married. He got married in 2017 to Onyi Adada. 
Ken Erics was born on 28th February 1985 in Kano State in the northern part of Nigeria. He is currently 36 years old. He is originally from Enugu-Ukwu, a town in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is currently the sixth child in the family.
Ken Erics completed both his primary and secondary school education at Dennis Memorial Grammar school in Kano state in the northern part of Nigeria and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.
Ken Erics had the passion for acting at a very tender age and started acting from his local church. After completing his primary and secondary school education, Ken Erics proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in Anambra in the south eastern part of Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts.
Ken Erics had so much passion for acting which took him to study Theatre Arts in the university. While growing up Ken Erics has done so many stage performances and has acted in several stage dramas. He is a member of many theatre and dramatic clubs and was attending movie auditions right from his undergraduate days.
Ken Erics joined the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood in 2000 and got his first professional movie role in a movie titled “Holy Prostitute” while still in the university. Ken Erics is currently married to a beautiful lady whom he met while still in the university. His determination for success and his prayers to God skyrocket him from a struggling actor to a mega superstar actor.
Ken Erics always act in sorrowful and romantic movie; he is one of the most romantic actors in Nigeria and a girl’s guy. During an interview with the media, Ken Erics revealed that his rise from a struggling actor to a celebrity actor wasn’t a bed of roses after all. According him, he went through hell just to get movie roles. He also stated that he slept in motor parks, uncompleted building and garage in Lagos when he came for a movie audition and had no where to stay during his early career in Nollywood.
Ken Erics also revealed that he was rejected many times in an audition ground and he had to go through hell to get a movie role. He had slept in motor parks, uncompleted building and under-bridge in Lagos just to get movies role. His passion for acting is amazing and he never gave up on his career even with all the rejection.
Aside from acting Ken Erics is also into other businesses such as real estate investment, show promoter and event planner. He was rumored to be dating Nollywood actress Rachael Okonkwo because they were always seen together in events and award night, but he declaimed the rumor saying they are just friends and colleagues in the industry.
Ken Erics in the cause of his career as an actor has starred in over 250 Nollywood movies. Some of the movies he has acted include Evil Intention, Father Ebube Muonso, Royal Sin, The Illiterate, and many more. He is very handsome and has been regarded as one of the most influential actor in Nigeria. In 2018, Ken Erics topped the list of the most handsome actors in Nigeria. He has won City People Movie Awards for Best Actor of the Year (English). He is an inspiration to young upcoming actors.
