Ondo students block highway as they protest lingering ASUU strike (photos)

Students of different Universities in Ondo state have blocked the Ilesha/Akure road in protest of the prolonged strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in the country.

The protesting students were drawn from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, and the Olusegun Agagu University of Technology, Okitipupa.

The aggrieved students barricaded the road to vent their anger over their continued stay at home due to protracted industrial action by the striking lecturers.

ASUU has been on strike since February 14, 2022.
