Nollywood actress, Remi Oshodi, popularly called Remi Surutu, has revealed that many of her colleagues rely on Babalawos to shine.
Speaking at her mother’s burial in December in Lagos, Remi Surutu emphasized that her late mother raised her to only depend on God.

“It’s only God I have and depend on, while some of my colleagues depend on Babalawos, my mother taught us the way of God and I’m walking in that path today,” she said.
Aside from actor Yomi Fabiyi, who attended the burial to honor the veteran actress, many celebrities were absent.

Remi Surutu was left to bury her late mother alone, with only a few friends and family members, after her industry colleagues didn’t show up.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actresses Wumi Toriola and Funke Etti have apologized unequivocally to Remi Surutu for their absence at her mother’s funeral.
