Spanish Influencer Elena Huelva, passed away soon after she gave her followers one last message about her battle with cancer. She was 20 years old.
In her final post, Elena Huelva wrote: “I want you to know that I already won, a long time ago.”
El Mundo reports that Huelva’s family shared an Instagram Story on her account on Tuesday to confirm her passing.
“Since this morning, Elena has been dancing for you and looking at you from her star. Thank you for everything,” the message said along with the hashtag Huelva often used on social media: #misganasganan.
The announcement was made after Elena posted a simple “I love you” note in her Instagram Stories.
The social media star, who continued to chronicle her battle with cancer, admitted to struggling to her followers not long before she passed away.
The woman from Seville, Spain, shared a picture of herself holding the hands of those she loves and wrote a message in Spanish as the caption.
“Today I woke up not in the best way,” it reads. “These are very difficult days, they are becoming more and more complicated, but as you know I am stronger, and more complicated.”
