Sam Dzata George who has vehemently been defending the private member bill that seeks to criminalize same-sex relationships in Ghana has been attacked by some of the advocates of the LGBTQ community.
Ghanaian singer, Sister Derby who seems not to fathom why the honorable is so obsessed with other people’s sexual orientation has lambasted him to bow down his head in shame for his stance on the new LGBT bill draft in Ghana’s parliament.
YOU are rather full of perversion. So obsessed with people’s sexual orientation. Shame on you, you backward thinker!!!, she replied Sam George.
Online content creator, Kwadwo Sheldon also described Sam George as a shallow-minded personality but can carry on with his quest to criminalize the act.
Celebrated Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has also added her voice to the ongoing brouhaha as she tells the MP to stop presenting his hate as facts.
Reacting to Sam George’s tweet of describing homosexuality as a sexual preference but not absolute, Lydia Forson wrote;
Once upon a time slavery was backed by law. In the 60’s interracial relationships were illegal in the states. Just say you’re a bigot and go about your day; stop trying to present your hate as fact. Also, nothing in this world is absolute, we can all make a case for anything.
Meanwhile, Sam George believes that the attacks on social media might be politically inclined based on his leadership but nothing will stop them from passing the bill.
