Wizkid headlines Headies 2022 with 10 nominations

Grammy winning artiste, Ayo Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has bagged 10 nominations in the newly released Headies award list.
The organisers of Headies on May 24, 2022, have released the 2022 nomination list and Wizkid is leading the pack in 10 categories.
Wizkid made it to the list with his fourth album, Made in Lagos, and his hit single, Essence, which featured female singer, Tems.
Wizkid has been nominated for the best male artist with other artistes like Burna Boy, Davido, Olamide, Adekunle Gold and Flavor.
He is also nominated for the artiste of the year, African artiste of the year, best Afrobeats album, album of the year, song of the year, best collaboration, best recording, best R & B single, and Viewers Choice.
